Indian sweets cannot taste better than Bikanervala. All you guys who have tasted sweets at other outlets and those from Bikanervala will certainly agree with me. The quality and taste differ so much. Even if you hate Indian sweets, you will start loving them once you start having from Bikanervala. All special occasions and festive junctures are given a sweet momentum with Indian sweets. Right from sandesh, besan laddoo, boondi ka laddoo, coconut burfi, gajjar ka halwa, karanji, kesar burfi, kulfi, makhana kheer to peda, rabri, rasmalai, seviya kheer, shahi tukra, srikhand, gulab jamun, jalebi and more, Indian sweets adorn every occasion. There are year round delights that do not require any celebration. The joy of relishing makes the difference.
Though I like all the varieties of Indian sweets, I like gulab jamun the best. Just imagine those hot deep brown juicy sugared balls adorning your bowl or plate. Whether it is after a meal or any time, I just cannot resist from having the gulab jamun. These are so yummy! I have almost twenty pieces at one go. My stomach remains as cool as it is if I have it from Bikanervala; often I had an upset stomach when I used to have so much from other shops.
The Bikanervala namkeen, available in most shops under the ‘Bikano’ brand, is the tastiest snacks item that can be had with anything. I love having the Bikano namkeen with tea in the morning and evening. The spicy bhujiya namkeen can be had with even meals!
